Our laying hens are free to roam during the day, hunting bugs, grubs and seeds and enjoying dust baths. We supplement their foraged diet with GMO free feed from Sunrise Farms in Stuarts Draft, VA. Our girls also enjoy kelp and treats from the garden. We provide fresh water, sometimes treated with organic apple cider vinegar or home brewed kombucha. As a result our eggs are extra rich in essential, healthy Omega-3 fatty acids, beta carotene, and Vitamins A and D . What’s good for chickens, is good for the humans who enjoy their eggs!
